Please read thoroughly before going to post your application.
It will make things run smoother in the future.

.Rule One.
Above all else, be respectful. I understand that characters will have enemies, and that is not the issue. Disrespect will stay in character only.
.Rule Two.
Please try an edit posts and proofread before submitting. I am not a member of the grammar police, but I will appreciate a best-pitched effort on your part. Messy posts are hard to read.
.Rule Three. This is a semi-literate to literate Roleplay. However, there is no minimum word count for posts. (After all, even the best of writers have blocks, and sometimes shorter posts advance the plot nicely.) That being said, please do not submit a one-liner. Shelob will come eat you if you do.
.Rule Four. There is no character limit. However, if you take on too many and cannot stay active, I may suggest you drop one. And please, only one character per account. That way, it is clear which character is participating from the get-go.
.Rule Five. All posts should be in third-person.
.Rule Six. Make sure you fill out your application fully and post it in the drop-off area of the board. Once you are approved, you can begin to roleplay. That being said, you will need to make sure to add "For Frodo" to the bottom of your application to prove you have read the rules in full.
.Rule Seven. Please keep language acceptable. This also goes for actions. Specifically, no god-modding and keeping physical interactions between characters at a PG13 level. If you feel you really must go the extra mile, please mark it with [MATURE] in the subject line, so those of us who do not want to read it do not have to.
.Rule Eight. Last but not least, Lord of the Rings is a time-specific work. That means that there will not be any modern commodities. That will influence both language, and actions. I am assuming you all understand that Rohan has no cell phones.
Following these will ensure a good time for all! Feel free to ask any questions you have.
Thank you, and welcome to Home of the Horse Lords!
